Kay Lutz

Picture of Kay Lutz

"More comfortable on the keyboard than on the microphone, Kay is an occasional source of the odd play. Some are very odd indeed. So far to her credit are nearly two dozen plays including The Pawn Shop, Someone Else's Flowers, Emma's Angel, The Gift of Life, Incorporated, The Librarian's Aide, Amy's Gift, and The Usher Murders. For her friends at Wayback Radio Theater, Kay has written the on-going Mickey Slammer detective series. She has also written for Radio Enthusiasts of Puget Sound. Kay has been known to provide Methodist pastors with almost-but-not-quite heretical dramatic interpretations of lectionary readings. She hopes that more bits and tangles from her imagination make their way to scripts for A.R.T. and Wayback. As "The Typist," Kay retypes, annotates, and transcribes OTR scripts for ART and REPS.
