- Both sold as completely "authentic"
- Both original authors visited the FBI academy
- Both shows were packed with rousing march music
However, Peace and War was not blessed with Bureau approval, while its rival was sanctioned.
Peace and War was virtually an anthology, bound only by acts of crime and by the sometimes-thin FBI involvement. The main characters were usually the criminals.
"The Three Time Loser" as a script came from Ivan Cury's files, one that he performed on. It was broadcast on June 16, 1949, a Thursday, from 8:00 to 8:30 PM EDST, West Coast repeat at 12:00 to 12:30 AM EDST.
