PLAYBACK ENGINEER
• Coordinate with director and producer
• Record music on minidisks for show

TECH ENGINEER
• Set-up microphones, PA, equipment
• Direct the take-down after the event

CD PRODUCTION
• Master CD gotten from Post Engineer
• Burn CDs
• Produce j-card, labels
• Construct CD package (CD, label, J-card, jewel case)
MC/HOST at event?
DIRECTOR (of a show)

• Collaborate in person with sound recording engineers to lay down audio tracks (SFX, music)

RECORDING ENGINEER
• Make assignments on minidisk media

• Make sure recording level isn’t saturating
• Turn recording off
• Eject minidisks and store for safekeeping

• Suggest to director as to possible casting
• Responsible for extra scripts to the actors if the script has been modified
• Responsible for extra colored script pages, delivered to the actors just prior to recording, if the script has been modified
